Billing System is live!

DOKK now has a fully automated billing system in place. Here's what you need to know.

When you are billed

All recurring subscriptions are billed annually on January 1st/2nd each year, regardless of when your organization was created. Your access remains valid until your subscription anniversary date — so if you signed up in May, you are billed in January but retain access through May of the following year.

API Keys

API access is complimentary for all active DOKK organizations. There is no separate charge for an API key — it is included as part of your organization membership. To receive an API key your organization must hold an active Dokk subscription.

Advance notice

You will receive an email notification on December 15th each year ahead of the January billing run.

Payment

Invoices are issued in ISK and sent via Business Central. Card-on-file charging will be available later in 2026 — until then, invoices are handled manually via bank transfer.

Frontend settings

We are working closely with our development partners at kodo.is to update the frontend to better illustrate and inform users about the billing settings and billable units for each organization.

Cancellations

If you cancel your subscription, access continues until the end of your current paid period. Once that period expires, portal access is automatically revoked. To cancel, contact [email protected].
